My trip to Polilio island is a new discovery. Another proof showing how vast and creative God is. Another unforgettable travel adventure.
FEW TIPS BEFORE GOING TO POLILIO ISLAND.
- Bring cash. no ATMs nor banks
- Bring insect repellent and put them on as soon as you land the island. Even while sleeping (its advisable you have insect repellent on, unless you have mosquito net) I got bitten by gnats "nik-nk"
- Bring flash light. Their electricity is from 2:30 pm to 6:30 am daily only.
- Bring mineral water or at least have your own water bottle container
- Bring towels and toiletries. (this isn't provided in the lodgings/resort)
- Bring hat, aqua shoes, snorkeling materials.
- There are good locations for diving but you have to bring everything with you, including the tank and regulators.
- Request for mosquito net (especially if you are staying in a fan room)
- Smart Communications signal only.
- Mode of transport is mostly tricycle or motorcycle (habal-habal)
